Theta Kavka ist erfahrener DJ, Musiker, Ton- und Lichttechniker. Als DJ spielt er vorwiegend elektronische Musik mit starkem Hang zu lateinamerikanischen Rhythmen, Downtempo, Funk, Soul und Disco, jedoch geht seine Plattensammlung weit über die genannten Genres hinaus. Er bewegt sich fernab des Mainstreams und beruft sich auf die eigentliche Aufgabe eines DJs: Die Leute zum Tanzen bringen und ihnen neue und unbekannte Musik zeigen.

Nachdem er in seiner Kindheit und Jugend in Bandprojekten seine Vorliebe für Musik ausbaute, führte es ihn geradewegs ins Nachtleben. Er fing an für Club-Partys Visual Effekte zu erzeugen und arbeitete eine Zeitlang als Licht- und Videotechniker. Gleichzeitig baute er sein Fachwissen im Tontechnik Studium bei der Deutsche POP Akademie weiter aus. Er absolvierte eine Ausbildung als Veranstaltungskaufmann im hiesigen Club "Schlachthof Krefeld" und wurde dort Teil des Resident-DJ Teams.

Seine erste eigene regelmäßige Veranstaltung bezog sich auf Live Musik und Poetry Slam, etwas später folgte seine eigene Club-Party-Reihe "Elektronischer Querschnitt" - welche 2020 ihr dreijähriges bestehen feiert. Aus dieser Partyreihe formte er das Kollektiv Brotlose Kunst, welches heute für fast alle öffentlichen Veranstaltungen mit elektronischer Musik in Krefeld verantwortlich ist.

Seit 2019 ist er nicht mehr an den Club gebunden und nun auf und hinter den großen Festivalbühnen zu finden. Dort baut er spezialangefertigte Lampen und koordiniert die Lichtgestaltung einiger Festivalbühnen wie z.B. Palapa (Fusion Festival), Santlantis (About You Pangea Festival), District (Warshaw Undercity), um nur einige zu nennen.

Theta Kavka is an experienced DJ, musician, sound- and lightning engineer. As a DJ he loves to play electronic music with a special interest in latin rhythms, downtempo, funk, soul & disco, but also with a much wider range of genres in his record collection. He's acting far away from mainstream and appeals to what a DJ usually has to do: making people dance and show them new and undiscovered music.

After pushing is passion für music in band projects during his youth and childhood, he moved straight into nightlife since he was allowed to.
He startet doing visual effect and video screening at club partys while he was working as a lightning and video engineer. At the same time he straighten his knowledge in sound engineering by studying at Deutsche POP Academy. Later he did vocational training and becomes an event salesman and also a resident DJ at his hometown club called Schlachthof Krefeld.

His first repeating event focused to the basics: live music and poetry slam. Later this was followed by his first regularly repeating club-party "Elektronischer Querschnitt" which is existing now (2020) since three years. From this point he kind of created a collective named Brotlose Kunst out of his party friendships which is now responsible for mostly all electronic music events in Krefeld.

Since 2019 he isn't bound to the club anymore. Now he works at or behind big festival stages. His job is mostly creating custom made lamps for party usage, design and coordinate lightnings for festival stages like Palapa/Fusion Festival, Sandlantis/Pangea Festival, District/Warshaw Undercity, to just name a few.
