My name is Alisha Popat. I’m originally from Kenya and have called Berlin home for the past five years. I’m an indie folk singer-songwriter with a deep love for people and music.

Over the years, I’ve had a long and colorful journey in music, filled with many exciting moments. I sang at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa in 2010, and later collaborated with YouTube artist Lindsey Stirling on the song “We Found Love”, which went viral and has over 65 million views. In 2021, I was part of The Voice of Germany, which was another unforgettable experience.

I’ve spent more than 15 years performing, from weddings and private parties to corporate events — both as part of a duo and in larger band setups. I love engaging with a crowd and creating a warm, joyful atmosphere. My sets include everything from timeless classics to the latest hits, always shaped to suit the mood of the event.
